Description

Nicco and his handler set out early that morning. They really enjoyed their morning walks, going deep into the woods to a good rocky out crop at the edge of the forest opposite their home. Though there was snow on the ground, the sun shined brightly down on them, warming them thoroughly and efficiently. It was even starting to feel slightly warm, but the female handler kept her hoody on, knowing the second she removed it, she'd get cold again. A light mist hugged the ground, that would add to the chill.

They slowly made their way to the rocks when Nicco began to act up before they reached their destination. His head lowered and he let out a deep growl. His handler barely had time to let a word out before the grey Tokota took off. His handler tried to keep up. When she rounded a cluster of trees, exiting into a clearing where they were originally headed, a large bear sat on top of the boulder where the pair enjoyed spending their day was being occupied by a large grizzly.

Nicco's handler made her way to the male Tokotas side while pulling out her buck knife. She was prepared to help Nicco fight off the bear, but there was no need. Once the bear made a move to approach, the gray Tokota made quick work of him.
